Had a wonderful experience, and now my go-to restaurant! It was pretty empty when we arrived at 12 pm but nonetheless, the staff were super friendly and kind. The menu includes a wide selection of Middle Eastern dishes, and by far our favorite dishes were the Roasted Pepper Hummus and the Pistachio Pizza. The food didn't take too long to come out, and it all tasted super fresh and delicious. They also had a good variety of vegetarian and vegan options. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great and love the decor.

The inside is very open and nicely decorated, and seems to be a popular family spot. The food was SO GOOD - not a single thing was mediocre or bad. It all tasted so fresh and made with love. My favorite was the chicken shawarma, the chicken was cooked perfectly with very fragrant spices, and the rice was amazing as well. They have a few locations throughout NY, and I highly recommend you visit the closest one to you. Ayat is a can’t miss.

Simply amazing! Salads are spectacular, dishes made with attention to every detail. Just found it and already been back 2 more times. Excited to try the next dish. Chicken dishes done to perfection. No one serves a more tender chicken. Decor is original and very beautiful. Service was excellent. Hope they stay and linger in Staten Islands culinary future.

Ayat deserves to be nominated as the #1 Palestinian restaurant in NYC!!! I’ve been to their Brooklyn which was okay - before but this Staten Island branch is something else. First, we were greeted by Ameena - a young lady with a pretty face & a super welcoming smile . We ordered a small Fatet djej, tabbuli, watermelon halloumi salad, Ramallah mocktails, msakhan & maqloobi. Absolutely delicious options & sooo generous with their portions too! Ayat is like your Mom’s Palestinian kitchen - you can taste the homemade flavor in every dish for real. Their interior is also beautiful; you’ll see hand painted decor in every corner of the restaurant.

On a total whim me and a friend stopped here. I was absolutely not prepared for how out of this world delicious the food would be. Service was also amazing - super fast and respectful. I'm floating on a cloud. Ate too fast to get a good photo so you'll have to live with me gremlin gobbling my food. P.S. definitely get the hummus!!

I recently dined at Ayat for the 3rd time, and had a very good experience . The atmosphere was cozy, welcoming, and beautiful. The food was very good and very fresh & clean. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Especially Saadet, the manager. She is very sweet, and has a comfortable and good vibe, she is always smiling and makes sure you are enjoying your meal. I highly recommend Ayat if you love a relaxing place with a kind and welcoming staff!
